Using a combination of our own facilities and our existing call off contracts we can assist clients in the determination of low levels of radioactivity in environmental samples. Aurora can also provide analytical services for higher levels of radioactivity associated with contaminated land, decommissioning and radioactive waste fingerprinting.

We have access to a wide range of analytical services for sample characterisation including:

• Laboratory high resolution gamma spectroscopy.
• In-situ high resolution gamma spectroscopy.
• Liquid scintillation counting.
• Alpha spectrometry.
• Gross alpha/beta analysis.

A number of these services hold UKAS accreditation.
