Risk Assessments
Regulation 7 of the Ionising Radiations Regulations 1999 requires that all operations involving exposure to ionising radiation are subject to a formal risk assessment PRIOR to the activity commencing. The risk assessment should determine the engineered and procedural controls required to ensure compliance with duties specified in the Regulations. We can provide advice on the requirements of such assessments, undertake these risk assessments for you or assess the adequacy of your existing assessments.
