Experience
Upon completing the BSc Physics with Astrophysics, Lindsey began the MSc Radiation and Environmental Protection at the University of Surrey. This allowed her to focus on the area of radiation protection. As a result, Lindsey became a member of SRP in 2010 and was awarded the scholarship for further studies in radiological protection.

Lindsey initially joined Aurora in June of the same year in order to undertake her final MSc project. Part of Lindsey’s project was to assess the effectiveness of Aurora commercial training courses. These courses would focus on either the ionising or non-ionising radiation sectors and required Lindsey to develop novel ideas for training methods in order to customise the courses further to client needs. She was awarded a distinction and was offered a position at Aurora as a trainee Radiation Protection Adviser (RPA) and Laser Protection Adviser (LPA).

Lindsey is currently working towards obtaining accreditation for both RPA and LPA.
