history and staff

The Company was originally formed in mid 2001 by Cliff Ellis and Robert Truman under the name AEAT RPA Services. In early 2003 AEAT RPA Services changed to Aurora Health Physics Services as Bob and Cliff were joined by Allan May, Jill Reay and Glenn Hardcastle, with Robert Hill and Paddy Copeland joining in 2004.

The team was strengthened in 2005 with the addition of Jon Taylor and Victoria Ibbetson. Strong growth in the client base enabled Aurora to recruit Raj Bunger in August 2006 to provide additional expertise in both ionising and non-ionising radiation protection.

The team grew further in 2007 through the recruitment of Amy Yeadon as the Aurora Office Manager and Emma Sutton as a trainee health physicist.

Victoria returned to her native Australia in late 2007 to get married.

Our latest recruit is Neil Dorling who joined Aurora full time in late 2008 as a Health Physics Supervisor and Site Manager.
