Experience

Emma joined Aurora in November 2007 as a Trainee Health Physicist. Her role is currently assisting with a number of projects ranging from radiochemistry (e.g. liquid scintillation analysis), dosimetry, instrument maintenance and calibration, environmental sampling, radiological clearance surveys and radiological remediation work.

Emma has attended number of training courses and has recently completed the Stage 1 City & Guilds Radiation Safety Practice course.

Emma previously worked for Safeguard International as part of their sales support team; duties included customer support, collection planning, tender preparations, quotation preparations and project assistance.

At Safeguard International Emma was also a key member of a team working on a surplus source collection project which encompassed the whole of the UK.
