Experience

After graduating with an honours Degree in Physics from the
University of Melbourne Victoria joined Australian
Radiation Protection Services Pty. Ltd (ARS) as a Health
Physicist and company Radiation Safety Officer.
During Victoria’s time at ARS she provided radiation
protection advice to clients, performed site visits and
inspections of radiation facilities (e.g. universities,
hospitals, petrochemical sites, etc.) and carried out
site audits with respect to relevant Codes of Practice
and State/Commonwealth Regulations. Victoria was
responsible for the supervision of a number of technical
staff and junior Health Physicists as well as being the
physicist in charge of the Personal Radiation Monitoring
Service. She was also on-call for site visits to oil
rigs in the Bass Strait for radiation monitoring and
health risk assessments.
